This page contains an incomplete list of on-going exff activities. If you have something to contribute or are interested in a particular UML/IDE tool, please contact David Price. Depending on available resources, some items may be included in a Release 0.1a rather than waiting for Release 0.2.

Software

Stylesheets

Work has already begun on adding to the capabilities for e2u and u2e in the current stylesheets. More of EXPRESS will be covered and new UML/IDE tools will be covered as well.

New EXPRESS constructs for the e2u capability that are covered by development that is already underway include the following:

• EXPRESS Edition 1 select types;
• EXPRESS Edition 1 enumeration data types.

The next set of UML/IDE tools for which e2u and/org u2e capability is being added include the following:

• eclipse IDE;
• Rational UML tool;
• MagicDraw UML tool.

The exff EXPRESS Guide

The EXPRESS Guide will be expanded to cover all EXPRESS constructs included in either the u2e or e2u capabities.

The exff UML Usage Guide

The UML Usage Guide will be exanded to cover all the UML constructs that are used to represent EXPRESS when using the u2e capability.
